Michael has over a decade of experience in the Executive search industry and has built a strong reputation as one of the leading global head-hunters in the Medical Device market.

After living his dream in enjoying a 15-year career as a professional footballer, Michael launched his Executive Search career in 2011, joining a large global firm where he made rapid progress within the group. During a successful 11-year period with the group, he held roles such as Divisional Director for a rapidly growing and now highly successful company before moving into the position of Managing Director of a newly created company in 2017. In 2021, Michael was the number 1 ranked consultant out of over 150 consultants across the globe, breaking the group revenue record in the process.

Michael loves to work closely with his clients and has recruited talent across the globe, placing candidates in 34 countries. More recently, he has successfully completed several CEO, President and VP level searches in North America and Europe.

He has set up Northwood Executive Search with the intention of taking the recruitment service he has offered to the next level. Continuing to place a large emphasis on developing long-term partnerships with clients and candidates, Michael aims to offer more flexibility on certain aspects of the recruitment process to give clients greater peace of mind. Michael aims to create a hard working yet modern and flexible working environment for experienced consultants to join him in his quest to make Northwood a shining light in the global recruitment market.
